Paul Arnold Architects were commissioned by Fingal County Council to prepare a comprehensive condition report of Malahide Castle and the buildings in its demesne. PAA project-managed a multi-disciplinary team which addressed all aspects of the condition of this important medieval castle. The castle, which dates in part to the 15th century, has been continuously altered over the centuries and possesses a number of eighteenth and nineteenth century interiors of great importance as well as an important collection of Irish art and furniture. Malahide is presently the subject of a major re-presentation by Fingal County Council.
