Bellinter is a fine Palladian country house built for the Preston family. The date of construction is unknown but has been suggested as 1750 by some authorities and the architect is believed to be the German Huguenot architect, Richard Castle. The interior possesses important late Baroque and Rococo plasterwork as well as a fine first floor lobby.
